Let me just start by saying, I absolutely am sold on Guild Wars; however, this was not always the case.

I bought the game way back when it first launched, and, at the time, wasn't impressed. I played it for a while, but had the feeling that the game would be far too repetitive for my tastes. I ended up playing World of Warcraft for years instead. Don't even bring up the irony of playing WoW to get away from repetitive gameplay - believe me, I already know.

Anyway, after removing myself from the well of despair that is the World of Warcraft player base, I am happy to report that I have come back to Guild Wars, and really enjoy it. I own all three of its standalone 'campaigns', and am excited by the prospect of an actual 'expansion' This is why the following video made me nearly wet myself:



My pre-order has been in since the day they were taking them, and you can bet I know how I'll be spending my time when the preview weekend hits. Side note: the folks at ArenaNet really know how to setup a Pre-Order Pack.
