I solved my logo problem by simply changing themes again. This is my final choice for the new site design(probably).

I like that it is simple, and retains all of the functionality of the very basic templates (trackbacks, post e-mailing, etc.) The previous theme, while fancier, lacked a lot of the really basic features that make sites like this usable, so it had to go.
